Kashmiri shawls are delicate and should be dry cleaned or hand washed gently in cold water with mild detergent. Never wring or machine wash. Store flat or rolled, never folded on creases, and keep away from direct sunlight and moths.

Pashmina refers to the material — ultra-soft wool from Changthangi goats. Kani is a weaving technique where patterns are woven directly into the fabric using wooden sticks. Sozni is a needle embroidery technique applied on top of the fabric.
